Diy thread holder

This is my small working sewing space. Literally small.
My bedroom is pretty small, probably one of the main reasons I have to downsize every little thing. Despite being super buzy between jugling with work, school and being a full time mom. I love organizing my stuffs when I have some spare time. Yesterday, I made a simple thread holder using a 3D frame from ikea(think it cost about SGD$5.90) divider (the one i have here are the magnetic type, set of 2, from Daiso) and glue gun.

Of course you need threads. Lots of them.

After deciding the placement. I used my hot glue to place insitu.

Like so.
And then, we can start arranging the threads in place.

Fits in my small cupoard nicely.
Now i am able to find the colour that I need easily. 😊

Sunday date 31st Jan 16

On sunday, 31st Jan 16. We went to my nephew's wedding. (It's just a title but heck he's the same age as me.)
It's a nice feeling to be able to chit chat with the relatives on my dad's side.

This is my niece's daughter. So technically, i'm the grandma. So not cool, not cool man.
Didn't get to capture Hana's face to see her steamed up to see me holding another baby.

Here is the groom and the bride with my cousin(his mom).

After the wedding, we went to my cousin's place to see her newborn boy. Here is Hana meeting her little friend for the first time.

My aunty (young grandma) and mom. (Sisters for life)

Padi Emas

So my girl is all grown up. She's turning two this april.
Cheeky as always.

Recently, my parents brought us to this restaurant at jurong east. It's called Padi Emas.
I had fried kway teow. Its not so bad. Next time will try the seafood here.

Gave my girl fries. Though it came late. Its not greasy nor oily. Mom had mee soup and dad got bee hoon horfun. Thumbs up. Food is not bad for a new restaurant.

Hana Iman Qistina

Sometimes, I call her Hana.. Other times Qistina.
Did I mention she's only two months old.

Seriously?

Apparently, my daughter has a lot of serious faces.
For one- 'Why no milk yet' face

Pow,wow,boom!

Yes, I love to dress her up. Too bad she's too small to fit in all her other clothes.

Yo mama

I have a beautiful girl and she has a lot of facial expressions. Here's one.
